About this tool
Every platform wants a different image size. Instagram prefers 1080×1080, YouTube thumbnails need 1280×720 and many job or visa forms ask for a specific pixel size. This resizer lets you hit those exact numbers in seconds.
When you choose a preset, the image is centre-cropped to fill the frame so nothing is stretched. With “Keep aspect ratio” on, the height updates automatically as you type the width.
Frequently asked questions
Does resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much larger than the original can make it look soft, because new pixels have to be invented.
Is my photo uploaded?
No, resizing happens entirely in your browser.
What size is a passport photo in pixels?
A US 2×2 inch passport photo is commonly 600×600 pixels. Always check your country’s official requirements.
